01 THE PROBLEM
Why it matters
-
Potential clients are being turned away
More than 1 in 4 US adults have some type of disability. If your intake form fails with a screen reader, they can't ask for help.
-
A law firm is expected to get this right
An inaccessible website is a poor first impression for a firm that advises clients on the law.
-
Intake forms are where cases start
A contact or intake form that can't be completed with a keyboard costs you consultations.
02 CODE, NOT WIDGETS
Why not just install a widget?

- What's wrong
- The button is a styled
<div>, so the Tab key skips it and screen readers don't announce it as a button. - Who it affects

- How we fix it
- Replace it with a real
<button>element and add a clearly visible focus style.
-

- Fields only use placeholder text, which disappears while typing and isn't read reliably.
- Who it affects
- Screen reader users, people with memory or cognitive disabilities.
- How we fix it
- Add visible
<label>elements, autocomplete attributes, and error messages linked to each field.
-
Moderate
Sale prices have low contrast
- What's wrong
- Light gray price text on white has a contrast ratio of 2.8:1 (minimum is 4.5:1).
- Who it affects
- People with low vision, anyone reading on a phone outdoors.
- How we fix it
- Darken the text color to reach at least 4.5:1 without changing the design.

09 FAQ
Questions
Can you guarantee our site won't face a claim?
No. No one can honestly promise that. We audit and fix against WCAG 2.2 AA and document the work. Your own counsel can advise on legal risk.
Can you work with our marketing agency?
Yes. We can fix the code ourselves or hand prioritized fixes to your agency or developer.
Will this make my website ADA compliant?
No one can honestly guarantee a legal outcome. WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard most commonly used to evaluate web accessibility, and we audit and fix against it. For legal questions, consult an attorney.
Do you use an overlay or plugin?
No. We fix the source code.
How long does it take?
Free check: 1-2 business days. Audit: about a week for a typical small business site. Remediation depends on the site.
Which platforms do you work with?
WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Laravel, and most custom sites.
Do I need to give you access to my site?
Not for the check or audit. For fixes, yes - or we can hand the fixes to your developer.
Where are you based?
We are a remote studio based in Europe, available during US business hours.
